Responsibilities

• Develops strategic plan for unit.
• Serves on departmental leadership team.
• Directs unit staff, setting performance standards and accountabilities.
• Ensures that programs, activities, and services comply with University, State, and Federal regulations.
• Provides input and guidance into the budget and fiscal operations of the unit.
• Develops and seeks funding for programs to promote unit mission.
• Oversees communications, promotions, and public relations for units.
• Develops and implements unit programs.
• Serves on various University, division, and departmental committees and represents the department at various State and National associations.
