The Seminole Tribe of Florida Budget Department seeks aBudget Analyst to perform budgetary, management and financial analysis, examining estimates and planning financial strategies to maintain expenditure controls. Minimum two years' experience in budget analysis or related field, with knowledge of finance, budgeting practices, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of Lawson/Infor, Hyperion, or Oracle Fusion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Public Administration or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in budget analysis or local government budget/finance.
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting methods and accounting practices; equivalent education/training considered.

Responsabilités

• Perform budgetary, management and financial analysis to support expenditure controls.
• Analyze budget estimates and budgeting reports; provide recommendations.
• Assist staff with budget automated systems and related processes.
• Communicate findings with STOF departmental teams; excel in written/verbal communication.
