Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks an Associate Business Unit Controller to partner with Global Enterprise leadership, building strategic financial planning and analysis capabilities. The role includes budgeting, forecasting, and deal modeling, with mentorship to develop senior-level FP&A skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to value-added analysis, drive performance insights, and collaborate with multiple departments to support informed business decisions while growing leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or accounting.
• 6-8 years of related FP&A work experience.
• Continuous improvement mentality with openness to feedback and coaching.
• Developing leadership skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with mentorship to build rigor.
• Willingness to collaborate in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to support critical decision-making with sound judgment and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BU leadership to support strategic and annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly forecast updates, predictive analytics, internal reporting and performance management.
• Liaise between the business unit and corporate accounting teams, escalating and coordinating with the Senior Business Unit Controller as needed.
• Support management of the BU P&L to help achieve performance targets, ensure visibility into risks and opportunities, and assist in investigating unusual trends.
• Assist in monitoring working capital via deal modeling to reduce cost of capital and address at-risk items.
• Support periodic business unit reviews, contributing financial insights on growth trends and profitability.
• Assist sales leadership and business development in evaluating and designing deal structures for complex transactions.
• Support development and implementation of FP&A best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned; travel up to 20%.
