Job summary

The Boston Beer Company in Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Brewery Controller to lead the brewery finance function, ensuring accuracy of financial results, safeguarding assets, and delivering timely guidance to operational leadership.

This role manages end-to-end close, annual planning, cost-savings initiatives, capital expenditures, and GAAP compliance, partnering with brewery management and Corporate Finance while developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; leadership training preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of beer tax regulations (TTB) and PA state requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience, including leading finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cost-savings project portfolio with cross-functional partners.
• Manage financial performance and GAAP-compliant reporting for plant ops.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes with accuracy.
• Lead annual planning and LE processes with Brewery Management.
• Provide financial guidance to improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluate capital expenditures with Brewery Management.
