Job summary

Vizient seeks an experienced professional to drive brand drug manufacturer contracting for the 340B Prime Vendor Program. You will develop strategic value propositions and build executive relationships to secure contracts across a multibillion-dollar drug portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, present business cases, and guide contracting structures. The role requires 5+ years in pharmacy, PharmD, and willingness to travel; three days on-site in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Pharmacy degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmacy required.
• Experience in pharmacy contracting preferred.
• Knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program preferred.
• Strategic and rigorous analytical agility while using sound judgment to set objectives is desired.
• Leadership, presentation, and cross-functional interaction skills with a proven track record of delivering results needed.
• Willingness to travel.
• This is an office-based role with an expectation of three days per week on-site in Irving, TX

Responsibilities

• Generate new pharmacy program opportunities by identifying brand drug manufacturer business needs and relating them to Apexus contracting value proposition.
• Develop, deliver, and monitor new business opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers with senior decision-makers.
• Build relationships with consultants, attorneys, and advocacy groups to grow a network familiar with PVP contracting.
• Articulate advantages of Apexus’ contracting value to brand drug manufacturers.
• Present executive business reviews to leadership and internal stakeholders to gain consensus on contracting structures.
• Conduct market research to create business case models and value propositions for specific therapeutic drug classes.
• Collaborate with education and optimization teams to meet the needs of participants.
