Alcott HR is seeking a Benefits Product Manager to serve as the subject matter expert for employee benefits products, carrier relationships, plan design strategy, and benefits administration. This role sits within a PEO framework to help clients leverage scale and buying power across Alcott's benefits platform.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical benefits expertise with consultative skills to advise employers, brokers, and internal stakeholders on strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of employee benefits experience in a PEO (preferred), brokerage, carrier, consulting, or benefits administration environment.
• Deep understanding of group health insurance products and employee benefits programs.
• Health insurance producer license preferred.
• Experience advising employers on benefits strategy and plan design.
• Strong presentation and consultative communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and benefits administration technology.
• Knowledge of underwriting methodologies and renewal analysis.
• Experience with iSolved or similar HRIS/benefits administration platforms.

Responsabilités

• Act as the subject matter expert on medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary, and ancillary benefit offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of carrier products, network structures, funding arrangements, underwriting methodologies, and market trends.
• Evaluate carrier renewals, product enhancements, and new opportunities.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting benefits.
• Develop and maintain benefit product documentation, training materials, and client resources.
• Advise clients on benefit strategy, plan design, and contribution modeling.
• Participate in finalist meetings, sales presentations, and strategic client discussions.
• Assist employers with competitiveness, affordability, compliance, and workforce objectives.
• Provide guidance on fully insured, level-funded, and other funding options.
• Support large client renewals and complex benefits discussions.
• Partner with sales to position offerings; conduct discovery conversations.
• Assist in RFP responses and complex inquiries; develop competitive analyses.
• Support broker and referral partner education initiatives.
• Train teams on benefit products and market developments.
• Serve as escalation point for complex benefits questions.
• Create internal educational content; collaborate with underwriting and pricing teams.
• Evaluate new carrier partnerships and product opportunities.
• Participate in carrier negotiations and annual reviews.
• Analyze enrollment trends, utilization data, and client feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve products and client experience.
• Support implementation of new benefits products.
