Job summary

Evermore, a luxury resort destination in Florida, seeks a seasoned People Operations leader to manage benefits, payroll, and policy administration. You will oversee enrollment, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance while mentoring the People Benefits Specialist and collaborating with Accounting.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement to support Evermore's guest-first and team-first culture.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of People & Culture management in a high-volume resort.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Excellent management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all benefits functions including enrollment, qualifying life events, reporting, open enrollment and billing coordination with vendors.
• Audit monthly benefits invoices and internal program billing for accuracy and timely payment.
• Assist in development, implementation, and communication of team member benefits programs.
• Monitor payroll-related items including benefits deductions and time-off requests.
• Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and forecasting related to benefits and compensation programs.
• Manage, monitor and audit monthly benefits, assist with budgeting and forecast financial adjustments.
• Train, develop, and mentor including direct supervision of the People Benefits Specialist.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation and related laws.
• Oversee I-9 compliance within UKG and driver’s license verification processes.
