Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation (EBEC) subgroup seeks an attorney with 2‑6 years of experience to join its EBEC practice. The ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, Charlotte, or Richmond; exceptional candidates in other markets may also be considered.

This attorney will support the design and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and incentive and other compensation programs, and

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing in the state where practicing.
• 2–6 years of experience in employee benefits or executive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Drafting plan documents.
• Assisting with corrections.
• Negotiating vendor agreements.
• Supporting transactional work, including due diligence and preparation of related disclosure schedules.
• Preparing and reviewing materials for fiduciary committee meetings.
• Analyzing client questions, conducting related research, and drafting responses.
