Job summary

Elementis PLC is seeking a Sr. Benefit Specialist to design, analyze, and administer US employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs. You will partner with senior management, brokers, and providers to optimize plans while ensuring compliance and high service levels.

Responsibilities include managing open enrollment, cost analysis, benefits communications, and coordination with HR on policy updates. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
  • 5-10 years in Benefits related field.
  • Certifications preferred (CBP, CEBS, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
  • Deep knowledge of US benefits compliance (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
  • Strong experience with 401(k), pension, and life insurance plans.
  • Experience with ADP and Workday systems.
  • Strong Excel skills and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Administer US benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans.
  • Plan and manage annual open enrollment and renewals with brokers.
  • Monitor costs, utilization, and design changes to reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA and related laws.
  • Communicate benefits changes to employees and management.
  • Coordinate with HR on wellness programs and system integrations.
  • Support union bargaining on employee benefits and cost data.
  • Reconcile invoices and maintain accurate benefit records.
  • Travel up to 10% as needed.
