Job summary

Wespath seeks a dedicated Outsourced Conference Benefits Officer to manage client Wespath-sponsored benefit programs and provide consultative service to plan sponsors. You will guide clergy and participants, oversee enrollment, transitions, and retirements, and partner with conference leadership to improve service delivery.

Hybrid role with in-office Wednesdays, travel up to 30% domestically, and opportunities for education through webinars and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration with familiarity with church governance is preferred.
• Skilled in formatting Microsoft Office documents and analyzing data in Excel.
• Willing and able to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary advisor to Annual Conferences, clergy, and participants on benefit programs.
• Manage Wespath benefit administration processes including enrollment, transitions, and retirements.
• Build partnerships with conference leadership, including bishops and finance teams.
• Deliver education through webinars, consultations, and events.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance, maintain accurate data, and provide insights to support decision‑making.
