Job summary

Church Pension Group (CPG) in Midtown Manhattan seeks a Benefits Outreach Coordinator to oversee life events and support Pension, Health and Welfare and Church Life services. The role ensures adherence to procedures, collaborates across departments, and delivers timely benefit processing for Participants, Administrators, Bishops, and Diocesan leaders.

The position requires hands-on, service-oriented expertise in health and welfare benefits, CRM transaction processing, and strong communication

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of professional level experience with health and welfare benefits and pension plans.
• CRM experience with updating and accessing transactional systems/data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end life events such as marriage, birth, adoption, and salary changes.
• Research and resolve complex situations; provide client services for complex cases.
• Process transactions and maintain documentation in CRM and other systems.
• Understand benefit calculation processes and ensure timely updates to participant records.
• Communicate with administrators, bishops, and diocesan leadership; handle life events and plan issues.
