Job summary

CoVerica, a respected independent insurance agency, seeks an Experienced Benefits Account Manager in Dallas, TX to manage employer benefits programs and deliver exceptional client service. You will work with a collaborative team, handling renewals, enrollments, and inquiries while supporting strategic benefits solutions.

The role requires an active Life & Health license and 5+ years in employee benefits or related client service, with proficiency in AMS360, Epic, or Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in employee benefits, group health insurance, account management, or client service preferred.
• Experience with benefits administration platforms or agency management systems is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Active Life & Health Insurance License required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with employer groups and decision-makers.
• Respond to client questions regarding health and employee benefits programs.
• Assist with claims issues, eligibility updates, enrollments, and policy changes.
• Process new business, renewals, and market benefit plans with carriers.
• Support annual renewal strategy, open enrollment, and implementation activities.
• Ensure accurate benefit enrollments and data integrity across systems.
• Audit enrollment and billing information for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.
• Stay current on employee benefits products, carrier updates, and regulations.
