Job summary

Bank of Utah is seeking an Implementation Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across banking, technology, and operations from planning through go-live at the Ogden branch. The role emphasizes implementation readiness, coordinating business, technology, vendor, and operational activities for successful delivery.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in project or implementation management, with experience in cross‑functional delivery and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, project management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of project management or implementation management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
• Experience with technology, system, or vendor implementations preferred.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• PM or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead banking, technology, and operational initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, scope, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with business units, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive completion.
• Facilitate meetings, status updates, and implementation planning to maintain alignment.
• Coordinate requirements, testing, training, communications, and operational readiness.
• Manage third‑party vendor activities and ensure alignment with timelines.
• Provide clear project communication and escalate risks as needed.
• Apply governance practices and maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery practices and efficiency.
