Job summary

Honesdale National Bank in Honesdale, PA seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, accounting, treasury, and regulatory reporting. You will partner with the CEO and Board to drive capital planning, liquidity management, and performance measurement.

The CFO will oversee GAAP-compliant reporting, audits, ALCO, risk management, and the integration of new products. Strong leadership and advanced credentials are highly preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required or related field.
• CPA, MBA or equivalent advanced credential strongly preferred.
• Formal training in bank financial management, ALCO, interest rate risk, or regulatory reporting desired.
• Ongoing professional development in banking regulations, capital planning, liquidity management, and emerging fintech expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Oversee accounting, finance, treasury, and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Manage ALCO processes and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Present financial results and strategic insights to the Board of Directors.
• Develop and mentor Finance and Accounting teams; drive continuous improvement.
