Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and governance for a bank/financial services client. You will guide capital planning, portfolio strategies, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the Board and executive team.

You will oversee budgeting, analytics, and risk management while driving efficiency through technology and process enhancements. This role requires deep banking knowledge and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or MBA valued.
• Ten+ years in senior financial leadership in banking or mortgage banking platforms.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements is advantageous.
• Experience advising boards and ownership groups on governance matters.
• Knowledge of banking laws, regulatory frameworks, and operational infrastructure.
• Builders mentality with initiative, business acumen, and disciplined leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advise Board on capital planning, dividend strategy, governance, and long‑term initiatives.
• Manage investment holdings; provide strategy on portfolio positioning and asset allocation.
• Lead ALCO and Finance Committee; report liquidity, rate exposure, and balance sheet metrics.
• Develop Banks annual financial plan with monthly projections and variance analysis.
• Drive operations optimization through technology enablement and automation.
• Perform advanced analytics and scenario modeling for branches, loans, deposits and product profitability.
• Oversee credit loss estimation framework (ACL/CECL) with economic forecasting.
• Manage corporate card program oversight and vendor relations.
• Maintain governance over accounting and finance policies and updates.
• Supervise accounts payable ensuring accuracy and internal controls.
