Lesley University in Cambridge seeks an experienced AVP of Financial Planning, Data, and Analysis to lead financial modeling and the annual budget process. You will partner with the CFO and university leadership to drive data-driven decisions, improve reporting, and ensure system integrity across financial platforms.

The role requires 10+ years of financial leadership, strong modeling skills, and a track record of operational improvements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or data analytics; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of financial experience, with at least five years in a leadership role.
• Strong accounting skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data mining; experience with Workday Adaptive and Colleague preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, budgeting and forecasting tools.
• Ability to independently lead projects accurately and on time.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with leadership engagement.
• A track record of driving financial and operational change and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect financial models in collaboration with the CFO for strategic planning.
• Lead the university's annual budget process and oversee financial analysis and reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison for financial systems and ensure data integrity.
• Provide timely reports to senior leadership and evaluate program sustainability.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and support audits.
