Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a skilled buyer to manage tooling, MRO, and equipment sourcing for automotive trim parts in Georgia. You will lead RFQs, negotiate terms, and maintain supplier relationships to support cost-effective purchasing.

The role requires at least 3 years in automotive procurement, English fluency, willingness to travel up to 50%, and a relevant degree. Bachelor preferred; Associate acceptable with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; an Associate’s Degree with procurement experience accepted.
• Minimum 3 years buying experience in an automotive environment.
• Fluency in English; additional German/Japanese/Korean a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Source tooling, MRO, and equipment suppliers; issue RFQs and negotiate terms.
• Develop supplier metrics; ensure budgeted purchasing aligns with goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional sourcing with Europe and Asia.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage supplier development to meet Decostar/Magna requirements.
