Job summary

HHM Talent is assisting a client in Hammond, Louisiana, in a search for a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, profitability, liquidity, and long-term enterprise value for a growing dealership group.

The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and complex initiatives such as acquisitions, audits, and real estate strategy, reporting to ownership and collaborating with the Corporate Controller to strengthen finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial strategies to improve profitability, manage expenses, increase revenue, and support long-term growth for the dealership group.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, capital allocation, and financial analysis across entities.
• Oversee enterprise cash management, banking, floorplan financing, and insurance relationships.
• Evaluate acquisitions, financing, and real estate investments; lead deal structuring and post-acquisition integration.
• Direct tax planning, entity structure, and related-party lease strategies.
• Provide leadership to the Corporate Controller and establish clear financial policies and controls.
