Job summary

Ocugen in Malvern, PA is seeking an Associate Director to partner with cross-functional leads from concept to commercialization, ensuring cohesive execution across R&D, CMC, regulatory and commercial functions.

The Associate Director provides strategic and operational leadership, identifies risks, communicates progress to senior leadership, and drives continuous improvement through governance and best practices to shape program strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required; PhD preferred.
• 10+ years in pharma with multi-functional PM experience.
• Experience in drug development and CMC/regulatory.
• Proficiency with PM tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to drive programs from concept to commercialization.
• Develop team norms and operating principles with accountability and robust analysis of options.
• Coordinate with DPT and enterprise to ensure alignment and best practices.
• Facilitate governance, risk identification and mitigation plans across programs.
• Manage budgets, resources, and deliverables with KPI tracking.
• Communicate program status to senior leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with external partners (CDMO, CRO) to define timelines and dependencies.
