Job summary

Chrysalis seeks an Associate Director to assist the Area Director and oversee the managers of the programs in Reno, NV. The role focuses on maintaining a high level of quality and coordinating with schools, state workers, families, therapists, courts, and residential placements to support individuals toward greater independence.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the disability field, strong communication skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to document work

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills.
  • Public relations with outside professionals and state employees.
  • Ability to complete program documentation accurately and on time.
  • Ability to manage personnel and program issues.
  • Commitment to improving quality and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Area Director and oversee program managers.
  • Maintain high quality across the program.
  • Coordinate among school, state workers, family, therapist, court and residential placement.
  • Ensure staff provide appropriate support to help individuals gain independence.
