Job summary

Omegahires in the United States is seeking an experienced API Architect to define architecture, standards, and governance across the organization. You will shape the API program and collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

You will design scalable, secure API solutions aligned with business needs, establish lifecycle practices, enforce security and access controls, review designs, and lead API teams in collaboration with stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading API architecture and governance.
• Deep understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define API architecture, standards, and governance practices across the organization.
• Design scalable, secure API solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Establish API lifecycle management including design, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retirement.
• Define API security standards, authentication, authorization, and access control policies.
• Collaborate with development teams, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and clients to define API strategies and integration solutions.
• Evaluate API management platforms, tools, and technologies to support enterprise integration needs.
• Review API designs and ensure adherence to architecture standards, performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to API developers and integration teams.
