Job summary

You will develop annual and multi-year plans, manage a portfolio of leadership gifts, coordinate with Marketing and Alumni Relations, and produce timely reports. A bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of fundraising experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• 4–7 years of fundraising experience, preferably at a higher education institution.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal abilities with program management experience.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks; experience compiling analytics/reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and multi-year strategic plans for the annual giving program and multi-channel solicitations.
• Provide oversight of phone, mail, and direct market giving programs including JSU Day of Giving and Peer-to-Peer fundraising.
• Maintain a portfolio of leadership annual gift prospects and build donor relationships.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Alumni Relations on communications, branding, and solicitation coordination.
• Develop and evaluate constituency programs for alumni, students, parents, faculty/staff, and donors; produce monthly/quarterly reports.
• Execute a minimum set of donor solicitations and track performance; ensure confidentiality and ethical standards.
