Job summary

JLL is seeking a Sr. Research Manager to lead the Analytics, Research, and Mapping (ARM) program within the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization. You will own a bespoke research and insights program, delivering executive-level recommendations and data-driven deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, urban planning, real estate, or related field.
• 7+ years in commercial real estate research, consulting, or closely related field; industrial or office sector experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to operate as both strategic leader and hands-on producer from executive presentation through deliverable production.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skillset with a data excellence mindset; ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Dynamic presentation skills and executive presence; capable of engaging senior leaders with insight-driven content.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Command of CRE fundamentals with the ability to translate knowledge into forward-looking recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Hone and execute a holistic research and insights program for GREF, collaborating with JLL Research, Consulting, Marketing, and business stakeholders across regions
• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior client leadership, translating complex themes into clear, compelling, and predictive insights that drive decision-making
• Produce analytical and mapping deliverables (commute studies, portfolio maps, demographic analyses, site-level research) to support portfolio strategy and transactions
• Lead production of pre-defined and ad hoc research requests, ensuring consistent quality and timeliness across multiple stakeholders
• Proactively leverage AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies to maximize efficiency and streamline repetitive tasks
• Communicate insights via traditional reporting and advanced data visualization tools, including JLL’s proprietary technologies and GIS platforms (MapIT, ArcGIS, or similar)
• Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to manage research intake, prioritization, and delivery timelines
