Sun Life U.S. is a major provider of employee and government benefits with a nationwide footprint and a large analytics team. We are seeking a Senior Analyst to partner with Global Procurement and Payments to derive insights from spend data and support strategic sourcing decisions.

You will analyze RFP data, build dashboards, and present findings to senior stakeholders. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration across global teams, and delivering executive-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business or procurement and supply focus.
• 5+ years experience in Consultancy, Financial Services, Data Analytics/Management or Procurement Analytics
• Competency in Microsoft Office programs
• High proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Alteryx) and pivot functionality

Responsibilities

• Structure ambiguous problems and derive insights from data for clear takeaways and recommendations.
• Create executive-ready slides and concise communications for senior leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Analyze spend data to guide sourcing decisions and supplier performance.
• Support KPI tracking and spend reporting for category management.
• Share knowledge with teams to refine approaches and drive outcomes
