Job summary

Skillsoft is seeking an experienced Analyst Relations Director in the United States. The role leads strategy and execution to shape analyst perception and keep Skillsoft top-of-mind in the industry.

This is a highly visible, individual contributor role bridging analyst relationships with internal stakeholders to elevate reputation and product narratives. Key responsibilities include strategic relationship management, thought leadership amplification, and planning analyst engagements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in market analyst relations, corporate communications, product marketing, or similar field.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS, learning and development, or adjacent tech industries.
• Experience working with major analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, IDC, Forrester); former analyst experience required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior executives.
• Be highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a strong investigative mindset and strategic thinking to translate analyst insights into actionable business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key industry analysts.
• Thought Leadership Amplification: Deliver compelling company narratives through briefings and engagements.
• Analyst Engagement Planning: Plan analyst days, events, webinars, and 1:1 engagements.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align messaging across product, marketing, communications, and executive teams.
• Content Development & Messaging: Prepare briefing materials and spokesperson content for analyst audiences.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track analyst research, coverage, and social commentary for positioning.
• Rapid Response & Influence: Manage inbound analyst inquiries and RFPs swiftly.
• Insight & Strategy Development: Use analyst feedback to guide product, marketing, and GTM strategy.
• Influence on Market Perception & MQ/Wave: Shape Skillsoft's positioning in analyst evaluations.
• Competitive Intelligence Gathering: Share data insights from analyst discussions to inform go-to-market.
