Strategic Analyst Parcel Insights & Operations - REMOTE

Job Summary

The Strategic Analyst, Insights & Operations, supports Parcel Operations, business development, Ryder clients, finance, and parcel operations through analysis and review of pricing for new and existing business. This role involves maintaining computer models for analytical and pricing processes, carrier-focused pricing, and transit analysis. Additionally, it supports Parcel Operations Managers with operational research and issue resolution.

Essential Functions

1. Provide daily pricing and analytical support for new and existing customers; support decision-making for the Manager, Parcel Insights & Pricing, Business Development, and Parcel Operations.
2. Maintain tools and inputs for pricing strategies, including models, rate sheets, and system data.
3. Support and update automated reporting dashboards for clients and internal teams.
4. Contribute to the annual Price Increase Process, including analyses and system uploads.
5. Collaborate with carrier partners to identify and resolve issues.
6. Analyze client inquiries and present findings to stakeholders.
7. Perform weekly analysis of the small parcel network.
8. Assist Customer Service Managers with customer requests.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• At least 4 years of pricing experience.
• 2+ years Ryder experience (preferred).
• Operational experience (2+ years).
• Proficiency in Excel, DOMO; advanced Python skills (preferred).
• Technical expertise in Strategic Analyses.
• Knowledge of logistics (intermediate, preferred).

• Travel: 1-10%
• Position Type: Salaried, $65,000 - $75,000/year
