Job Overview

The Strategic Analyst, Insights & Operations, supports Parcel Operations, business development, Ryder clients, finance, and parcel operations through analysis and review of pricing strategies for new and existing business. The role involves maintaining computer models for analytical and pricing processes, carrier-focused pricing, and transit analysis. Additionally, it supports Parcel Operations Managers with operational research and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing and Analytical Support: Prepare pricing for new and existing customers; support decision-making with analytical insights.
2. Tool Maintenance: Manage pricing models and inputs such as rate sheets and system data.
3. Reporting: Support automated dashboards and internal reports.
4. Annual Price Increase: Assist with carrier and client analyses and system uploads.
5. Carrier Collaboration: Work with carrier partners to resolve issues.
6. Client & Stakeholder Analysis: Provide baseline analysis and collaborate with Parcel Operations Managers.
7. Business Analysis: Conduct weekly analysis of parcel network performance.
8. Customer Support: Assist Customer Service Managers with client requests.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Required)
• 4+ years in Pricing (Required)
• 2+ years Ryder experience (Preferred)
• Operational experience (Required)
• Proficiency in Excel, DOMO (Required)
• Advanced Python skills (Preferred)
• Strategic Analysis proficiency (Required)
• PC spreadsheet expertise (Required)
• Knowledge of Logistics (Intermediate, Preferred)
• Strong communication skills (Required)
