Qualifications

• Major in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• Experience in commodity management and supplier development.
• 0 to 3 years sourcing experience required.
• English required; business-level Spanish and Mandarin preferred.
• Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing plans for the Americas region.
• Conduct supplier negotiations on purchase contracts.
• Analyze markets and provide budget and savings plans to management.
• Establish a regional supplier base in the Americas aligned with IATF16949 and ISO 9000.
• Lead supplier benchmarking with global JE sites and other regions.
• Consolidate regional supplier base for assigned commodities.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to leverage common suppliers and align costs.
• Utilize global suppliers to optimize landed cost, lead time, and quality.
• Support design for sourcing and manufacturing in NPD process.
• Expedite materials or reschedule per market demand to meet deadlines.
• Assist with spot purchasing activities regionally and globally.
• Coordinate with finance on timely supplier payments.
• Report monthly/quarterly on price negotiations, launches, and volumes.
