NEIU Independent is seeking a Director of Alumni Relations in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for all alumni engagement initiatives, serving as the chief liaison for over 90,000 alumni. Responsibilities include developing innovative programs, leading a dedicated team, and fostering relationships with diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in alumni relations, excellent leadership skills, and a Bachelor’s degree. A creative approach and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $98,000, and benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive experience in alumni relations, event management, or fundraising.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Multilingual ability in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans that drive alumni engagement.
• Plan and execute signature alumni events.
• Create multi-channel communication strategies to engage alumni.
