Job summary

National Airlines in Orlando, FL seeks a Maintenance Planner to forecast, plan, and schedule aircraft maintenance in line with FAA regulations and approved programs. You will coordinate routing, work orders, parts, labor, and tooling to ensure timely maintenance while supporting fleet operations.

The role collaborates with Maintenance Control, Materials, System Operations, and Technical Operations to maintain safe and efficient operations and accurate planning data.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of aviation experience in a position responsible for scheduling maintenance and familiarity with maintenance programs preferred.
• Willing to work any assigned shift which may include overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations of 49 CFR Parts 25, 43, 65, 91, 121.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Authorization to work in the US is required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts, plans, and schedules maintenance events to maintain FAA regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates with the Maintenance Control and Materials Department for parts and materials needed for completing maintenance tasks.
• Manages routing and scheduling to ensure maintenance events occur within calendar, flight-hour, and flight-cycle limits.
• Supports operational recovery and maintains planning data for fleet operations.
• Provides data and reports to monitor performance of maintenance and engineering environments.
• Maintains National Airlines electronic task database.
