Job summary

National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, seeks a Supervisor of Maintenance Planning to oversee maintenance planning activities ensuring aircraft safety and regulatory compliance. You will manage inspection tasks, update manuals, incorporate FAA ADs, and supervise the Maintenance Programs team.

ESSENTIAL: maintain programs, revise MPD/MPD cards, and coordinate with the Manager of Maintenance Planning. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• FAA certificate mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings preferred but not required.
• Able to read and comprehend complex Airworthiness Directives and apply requirements.
• Basic understanding of Title 14 CFRs and maintenance/airworthiness requirements.
• Knowledge of MSG-3 fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the company's SMS.
• Promotes safety and compliance in daily operations.
• Maintains Maintenance Program tasks in the database.
• Revises Inspection Program manuals to reflect manufacturer changes.
• Reviews FAA Airworthiness Directives for applicable ADs.
• Processes Major Repair data and follow-up requirements.
• Revises MPD task cards to include company requirements.
• Authors task cards with service bulletin data for AD methods.
• Supervises Maintenance Programs staff.
• Updates maintenance programs to add aircraft to the certificate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
