Job summary

Raft, based in the U.S., seeks an experienced Air Operations and Exercise Planner to lead operational planning for OPLAN rehearsals and exercises. You will collaborate with the Theater Joint Forces Air Component Commander (T/JFACC) to shape strategic and tactical air plans.

You will apply JOPPA, APEX, and related tools to develop blue force plans and coordinate with AFFOR and other staff. A TS/SCI clearance is required, and travel may be up to 25%.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC).
• At least 5 years with JOPPA, APEX or related joint planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed Mission Analysis reflecting customer requirements throughout the JOP for rehearsals and exercises.
• Analyze foreign military air, space and cyber operations to assess threats in planning contexts.
• Ensure exercise plan annexes are written, coordinated, resourced, and approved.
