Job summary

Data Direct Networks seeks an Advisory Sales Engineer to design high‑performance storage solutions for AI, HPC, and data analytics. You will translate customer requirements into scalable architectures and demonstrate capabilities through live demos and benchmarks on‑site.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering, drive technical validation, and guide customers through complex RFPs while staying current on AI infrastructure trends.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of storage and data architectures across SAN, NAS and object storage.
• Knowledge of data protocols (S3, POSIX, NFS, SMB) and network transport (TCP/IP, InfiniBand, RDMA).
• Experience translating customer needs into scalable storage solutions for AI/ML workloads.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand data challenges in AI, HPC, and analytics.
• Translate requirements into elegant, scalable storage designs and BOMs.
• Lead live demos, POCs, and performance benchmarking for proposals.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap with field insights.
• Provide technical stewardship throughout the sales cycle and post‑sale support.
