Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Partnerships in San Francisco. You will bridge research and external collaborators, accelerating deployment of OpenAI technologies through scalable processes and tools.

This role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, rapid execution, and strong communication across technical and non-technical partners. Based in San Francisco with a hybrid model (3 days in office), relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic partnerships and technical program management.
• Ability to right-size processes to align stakeholders while keeping delivery speed.
• Proven track record building cross-functional relationships and empathizing with involved roles.
• Ability to design and build tools (code / no-code / AI) to streamline internal processes.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Curiosity about the evolving AI landscape.

Responsibilities

• Build and share a deep understanding of frontier AI model development.
• Partner with internal and external teams to drive deployment of the latest OpenAI technologies.
• Manage inquiries from technical and non-technical partners.
• Design and implement simple, scalable processes addressing complex problems.
• Deliver high-profile pipeline and tooling projects on tight deadlines.
• Collaborate across research and engineering to align goals and support business priorities.
