Job summary

Eaton’s AI & Data Platform Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of AI and data platform products by creating and prioritizing roadmaps and managing the backlog. You will guide cross-functional teams across Snowflake, Dataiku, Coalesce, Palantir and data ingestion projects to deliver outcomes aligned with business goals.

Collaborate with AI, data and analytics teams, define funding, and balance new features with platform health and support. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a product/owner role on technology projects with AI & data platforms.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Moon PA, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Raleigh NC considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for AI & data platforms and the data acquisition portfolio.
• Own product backlog, manage user stories, decompose epics into features, and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan, manage and track product demand including platform consumption and licensing costs.
• Develop personas and customer journeys for stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and data science consumers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define business outcomes and KPIs for the product.
• Communicate goals for product enhancements and releases; define sprint goals.
• Support onboarding of internal and external resources and new data sources.
• Support governance: data quality, privacy, policy, cybersecurity, access management and usage.
• Build functional expertise in AI & data platforms, data engineering, and analytics enablement.
• Assist establishment of product processes and improvement across Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, DataOps.
