Job summary

Busek is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to support commercialization of new products from development to manufacturing and to manage the current supply base.

You will execute materials plans, drive supplier selection, negotiate contracts, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance and collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve performance across aerospace programs.

This role is highly visible and strategic, requiring strong negotiation, ERP experience (Epicor preferred), and the ability to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for materials, components and equipment.
• Locate, evaluate, and recommend high-quality, low-cost sources of supply (Domestic and/or offshore).
• Act as the primary point of contact between Busek and suppliers.
• Develop material process plans for each new component/revision to ensure material flow.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Develop specifications, SOWs, terms and conditions, and negotiate requirements with suppliers.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply and drive cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve performance across aerospace programs.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across supply chain activities.
