Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation seeks an experienced, influential Quality Director to lead the Quality organizations across the Parts Manufacturing network (Tampa, Oldsmar, Carson City). Reporting to the VP of Quality, this role ensures regulatory compliance, AS9100 and FAA requirements, and drives continual improvement.

You will develop multi-site teams, harmonize quality systems, partner with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain, and strengthen customer and regulator relationships while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive aerospace quality leadership, including multi-site or matrixed roles.
• Extensive FAA Part 21 and Part 145 experience with AS9100 knowledge.
• Experience working with FAA, EASA, CAAC and other aviation authorities.
• Proven track record leading audits, inspections, and quality improvements in aerospace environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Site Quality Managers and teams across multiple sites to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive strategy and standardization of Quality Management Systems across the network for consistency and performance.
• Ensure compliance with FAA Part 21, Part 145, AS9100, EASA, CAAC and customer requirements while enabling growth.
• Serve as senior quality owner for customer audits, regulatory inspections, and certification activities.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to improve process capability and on-time delivery.
• Lead initiatives to reduce escapes, audits findings, scrap, and cost of poor quality using data-driven methods.
