Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC is seeking a Sr. Program Manager in Longmont, Colorado to lead cross-functional teams in delivering antenna solutions within customer parameters.

You will advocate for the customer, drive programs across stakeholders, and manage EVMS targets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires extensive aerospace program management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of commensurate aerospace experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in technical project management or subcontract administration; aerospace sector highly desired.
• Experience managing complex projects in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct all major program phases including sales support/proposal development.
• Serve as primary customer contact and advocate for their needs within the organization.
• Negotiate customer requirements to fit within company capabilities and objectives.
• Generate and communicate detailed program plans, budgets, timelines, and resources to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Monitor program progress, fast-track critical path activities, and control cost escalations.
• Manage scope changes and plan re-baselining.
• Delegate to ensure full compliance for contractual requirements.
• Clarify and manage ambiguous requirements and communications.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate solutions balancing customer needs with organizational priorities and capabilities.
• Meet objectives through forecasting and communicating requirements.
• Status all stakeholders on program progress, milestones, budgets, schedules, compliance.
• Champion and guide best practices among PMO.
• Other duties as assigned.
