Job summary

The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) seeks a dedicated recruitment lead to drive outbound member acquisition and support inbound inquiries. You will develop company-specific intelligence to articulate why targets should join and how AIA benefits them.

Responsibilities include end-to-end prospect relationship management, logging touchpoints, coordinating event invitations, and collaborating with policy and events teams to optimize membership growth and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, political science, public policy, or related field; or equivalent direct work experience.
• Experience in association membership recruitment, corporate relations, or business development.
• Strong ability to analyze target companies and craft tailored pitches.
• Rigorous CRM usage and detailed note logging with timely follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day pipeline progression for prospective member companies.
• Build and manage outreach to Neo-Primes and other entrants.
• Research prospective member companies to create actionable intelligence.
• Document strategic rationale and action plans for each target.
• Conduct direct outbound outreach to communicate policy impact and benefits of membership.
• Engage with founders, CEOs, and senior executives to support recruitment objectives.
• Track follow-ups, invitations to events, and conversion blockers in CRM.
• Absorb existing recruitment methods and target lists over time.
• Travel up to 15% for event-related recruitment activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
