Ferco Tech is seeking a Buyer to ensure material availability and supplier accountability for manufacturing needs. You'll manage the full purchasing lifecycle from quotes to delivery and issue resolution, aligning with planning and production to meet commitments.

You will build supplier relationships, own issue resolution, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements in a regulated aerospace environment. This role requires ownership, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent purchasing or manufacturing experience considered.
• Two to five years of purchasing, procurement, supply-chain, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience purchasing direct materials, outside processing, or indirect materials in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Aerospace or other regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
• ERP/MRP experience required; Epicor experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general business software.

Responsabilités

• Own the Purchasing Process: Purchase raw materials, tooling, packaging, and services for manufacturing; prepare RFQs and POs with complete requirements.
• Keep Production Moving: Manage open POs, past-due deliveries, expedites, and shortages; secure commitments and drive resolutions.
• Solve Problems and Strengthen Supplier Performance: Resolve discrepancies; research alternate suppliers and support supplier qualification and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier correspondence, and ERP/MRP data.
