Beaver Aerospace & Defense, a Héroux-Devtek company, is seeking a Buyer II to own end-to-end procurement for a $25–$30M supplier portfolio supporting aerospace programs. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing (90%) and material planning (10%), with the need to negotiate LTAs and maintain supply continuity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in purchasing, ERP/MRP experience, and strong negotiation skills, with travel 10–20% and readiness to work in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in Buyer/Planner or strategic sourcing in manufacturing.
• Experience managing supplier book of $25M+ in spend.
• Proven contract negotiation and LTA execution experience.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to supplier sites.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and comply with ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage supplier book of approximately $25–$30M for materials and components.
• Build long-term supplier relationships with on-site visits.
• Lead RFQ events and evaluate responses for cost, lead time, and quality.
• Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
• Monitor supplier KPIs: OTD, quality, cost; resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure material flow and schedule adherence.
• Maintain procurement documentation and drive continuous improvement.
