Job summary

Crowe in the United States is seeking a Business Operations Assistant Director to support strategic and operational management across a business unit. You will partner with operations leaders to plan, report, and drive initiatives while adhering to firm policies and standards.

The role requires budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration; you will translate data into insights and help steer projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or related field.
• 6–9+ years of experience in business operations, FP&A, or related roles.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives or projects.
• Proficiency with financial and reporting tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for aligned business units or cost centers.
• Prepare and analyze recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with firm financial, procurement, and operational policies and guidelines.
• Assist in managing project budgets, invoicing, and expense tracking; coordinate with Finance and Procurement as needed.
• Support workforce planning activities, including resource forecasting and organizational changes.
• Manage and coordinate operational projects or initiatives as assigned, tracking progress and supporting delivery.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational processes, tools, templates, and metrics.
• Prepare materials for leadership meetings, including reports, presentations, and status updates.
• Represent business operations in cross-functional teams or working groups where operational insight is required.
• Support change initiatives, communications, and continuous improvement efforts across the aligned organization.
