Job summary

The University of Denver is seeking an Event Manager to plan and execute hybrid development events for donors and guests. You will partner with campus teams to craft engaging guest experiences from conception through post-event analysis.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in event management, with university or nonprofit experience preferred. Hybrid work is available with occasional travel and evening/weekend support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of professional experience, including 2 years in event management.
• Experience with donors and/or high-profile guests.
• Experience in a university or complex nonprofit environment preferred.
• Proficiency with event platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, GiveCampus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage event logistics for development and engagement events of varying size and scope.
• Collaborate with campus partners to deliver meaningful event experiences.
• Coordinate pre-event planning through post-event follow-up and reporting.
• Track registrations, budgets, and post-event ROI metrics.
