Appodeal seeks an experienced Lead In‑House Legal Counsel to support a fast‑growing advertising technology company at the intersection of digital advertising, data privacy, AI, and monetization. You will act as a strategic legal partner across commercial, product, privacy, and governance matters with emphasis on IAB frameworks.

Formación

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar.
• 8+ years of legal experience, including in-house experience at tech/AdTech companies.
• Deep familiarity with digital advertising ecosystems and privacy laws.
• Experience advising on IAB frameworks and adtech standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and review of complex commercial agreements across publishers, advertisers, DSP/SSP, data licensing, and vendor contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on commercial risk, revenue impact, and scalable contracting strategies.
• Serve as lead legal advisor for global privacy and data governance matters in advertising technology.
• Advise on compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA and other privacy laws.
• Provide product and regulatory counseling for new ad products, AI-enabled tools, and data usage disclosures.
• Develop governance processes for data usage, AI governance, and advertising compliance.
