Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Acquisition Systems Engineer to provide SETA support to a Government IC customer for complex space and ground programs. The role supports the Systems Program Office in acquisition and execution of mission critical systems and guides programs through milestone reviews.

The ideal candidate will have active TS/SCI with polygraph, a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience in DoW/IC acquisition processes and space acquisition.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years experience; Master’s 12+; PhD 9+.
• Experience with Federal, DoD, and IC acquisition processes.
• Space acquisition experience.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to quickly respond to Government queries.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Acquisition, Acquisition and governance artifact generation.
• Guiding program acquisitions through agency governance process.
• Coordinating acquisitions and acquisition documents across the Program Office
• Maintaining awareness of Systems Engineering Processes and Artifacts
• Representing the Program Office in customer acquisition discussions related to current and future contracts
• Reviewing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) for compliance, execution, and program status
