Job summary

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support a high-priority national security program. You will apply your background to help the customer execute engineering efforts and meet operational objectives with independence and teamwork.

The role requires TS/SCI and Poly clearance, 9 years of SE/SETA experience, and ability to review vendor deliverables, write requirements, and support testing and governance processes. Occasional travel to domestic locations is required.

Qualifications

• Must already hold a TS/SCI and Poly.
• 9 years of Systems Engineering/SETA experience.
• Ability to review vendor deliverables and provide technical feedback.
• Ability to write requirements for new releases or upgrades.
• Ability to support release testing as a customer representative.
• Ability to support governance and approval processes.
• Ability to travel domestically for meetings and testing.
• Ability to capture notes from technical meetings and communicate actions.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-priority national security program with independently driven engineering efforts.
• Review and provide feedback on vendor products and design reviews.
• Write requirements for software product releases and upgrades.
• Support release testing to ensure design objectives are met.
• Engage with governance and approval processes for new releases.
• Travel periodically to domestic locations for program meetings and testing.
• Capture meeting notes and communicate actions and outcomes.
• Learn program specifics to support mission partner exchanges.
