Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders

As a Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders for our Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profitability by managing key accounts with national builders.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing national accounts in building materials, developing business strategies, building builder relationships, and creating professional PowerPoint presentations.

Location: This position is eligible for remote work. Candidates must reside within the Eastern half of the United States, preferably near a major airport.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel may be required.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing national builder accounts in the eastern U.S.
  • Implementing account strategies and communicating with stakeholders, including builders, sales teams, and trade partners.
  • Collaborating with other account managers and sales teams to execute strategies at national and local levels.
  • Working with leadership to develop pricing and programs to grow profits.
  • Maximizing growth and profitability of the builder program.
  • Leading contract negotiations with national builders, coordinating with legal, marketing, and management.
  • Developing and communicating account plans for key customers.
  • Representing the brands at industry associations and conferences.
  • Handling challenging conversations regarding pricing and program requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years managing national accounts in building products
  • Understanding market forces affecting builders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Experience in account management and planning
  • Knowledge of pull-through programs, builder relationships, and distribution processes
  • Proven sales growth and results

Nice to Have:

  • CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot)

The estimated salary range is $105,000 - $125,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and location. Employees are eligible for bonuses or sales incentives.
