CLYDE, a fast-paced corporate communications and public affairs agency in Washington, DC, seeks an Account Supervisor to lead client programs and mentor junior staff. You will shape strategies, manage multiple accounts, and drive results across earned, owned, and paid media.

You will lead client calls, develop relationships, coordinate with content, digital, and design teams, and contribute to new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of political communications experience.
• Speaks with clarity, precision, purpose in small and large groups.
• Possesses excellent writing and grammar skills, including the ability to write concisely, clearly, and logically.
• Knows and uses AP Style; can edit work of junior team members.
• Comfortable with basic social media aggregators like Sprout Social, Meltwater, Hootsuite.
• Comfortable with Microsoft and Google office products.
• Interested and comfortable learning and adopting new tech platform.
• Interested in using practical applications of AI
• Comfortable with digital platforms like Wikipedia, Reddit, Discord, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and social media platforms.
• Experience pitching media.
• Finds opportunities to deliver constructive feedback to senior team members.
• Seeks and is receptive to constructive feedback
• Deep understanding of digital marketing and how SEO works
• Comfortable with digital marketing and confident in SEO programing, ad-buying, vendor management, and reporting.
• Understanding of website fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Develop communications strategies with clients and execute integrated campaigns.
• Serve as primary contact for one or more clients and lead client calls.
• Develop relationships with clients and communicate across channels.
• Assign responsibilities to internal teams with clear deadlines.
• Ensure deadlines are met and work quality is high.
• Collaborate with content, digital, and design teams.
• Direct multiple projects and balance competing priorities.
• Present to clients and participate in board presentations and reports.
• Support business development through proposals and client pitches.
• Contribute to social media strategies that meet objectives.
