REQ is seeking an Account Manager to join our Public Relations team in the Washington, DC area. You will lead client relationships, guide strategic communications programs, and contribute to account growth and team development.

You will be a trusted partner, overseeing program performance and client satisfaction while mentoring colleagues and driving results in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in public relations or communications, ideally within a technology-focused agency.
• Proven ability to manage accounts and deliver strategic, results-driven communications programs.
• Strong media relations experience with demonstrated success securing impactful coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, including executive-level communications.
• Strong knowledge of application of AI in PR & marketing; ability to develop AI-driven reports, processes, efficiencies, new service capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, building trust-based relationships.
• Lead client meetings, planning sessions, and proactive check-ins.
• Manage multiple accounts and projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables.
• Own media strategy and secure high-impact coverage.
