Job summary

Deepgram is seeking Forward-Deployed Engineers to embed with strategic restaurant accounts, delivering production-scale integrations, voice AI enhancements, and toolchains that run in production for major brands. You will be on-site with customers, shaping solutions from field insights and working closely with Deepgram's research teams.

This role emphasizes hands-on delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and rapid learning in a dynamic AI-first environment where deployments evolve rapidly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent is required or demonstrated by building a portfolio.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying backend systems in production.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and API design.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end solutions, integrations, tooling, and prompt engineering.
• Design, develop, and maintain production-scale integrations with customer systems.
• Spend substantial time on site with customers, collaborating with their teams.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize production deployments in live environments, including noisy audio setups.
• Work with research and product teams to push the platform forward based on field learnings.
• Test changes against live production data and measure impact on accuracy, latency, and throughput.
